All you need to know about Grow A Garden 2
Grow A Garden 2 is the sequel to the hit gardening simulation game Grow A Garden, with added elements of competition and combat. Now the game has officially launched on the Roblox platform.
Just 20 minutes after release, Grow A Garden 2 (GAG 2) attracted more than 400,000 concurrent players, while the original version still maintained about 140,000 concurrent players. This number may not even fully reflect the actual number of players because many people are unable to access the server due to overload.
The first Grow A Garden version was released in March 2025 and quickly became a phenomenon on Roblox, reaching more than 22 million concurrent players in just 5 months. The game’s success also extends beyond the gaming industry as A Story Kitchen studio is planning to turn it into a movie.
How to unlock Grow A Garden 2 early access
This process is done through the official GAG 2 website instead of directly on Roblox. Follow these steps:
- Visit the Grow A Garden 2 pre-order page at gag.gg.
- Click Enter the Gardenthen select Early Access.
- Sign in with Roblox account and grant necessary permissions to GAG 2.
- Copy invite link individually from the control panel.
- Share that link with 5 friends. Each person needs to click on the link and connect to their Roblox account.
- Once all 5 people complete the connection process, early access will be automatically unlocked.
What if the website doesn’t load?
Some players encountered an access error that prevented Grow A Garden 2’s Early Access page from loading due to an issue related to the IP address. This is a confirmed error and does not mean early access is full or registration is closed.
The simple fix is to use a VPN to change the IP address and then reload the page. Once you’ve finished connecting your account, you can turn off the VPN.
What’s new in Roblox Grow A Garden 2?
Grow A Garden 2 Roblox retains many of the familiar gardening mechanics of the original Grow A Garden, including buying seeds from the store, growing crops, tracking plant growth even offline, and harvesting and selling agricultural products for profit.
However, the most notable addition is the combat system. Players can form guilds and conduct nighttime raids to loot crops from their opponents’ gardens, while competing for weekly rewards. For defense, you can plant special plants around the garden to deter thieves and protect your achievements. Here are the most prominent changes:
Improved images
Grow A Garden 2’s graphics have been upgraded with smoother effects and no longer retain the typical blocky style of the previous version. Many of the game’s icons have also been refreshed, while plants and vegetation have a more streamlined texture, creating a clean and modern look.
Redesigned map layout
The stalls are no longer spread across the map like before. Instead, regions Seeds, Sell, Gears, Guilds and Props gathered in a common location, helping gamers manage daily activities more conveniently.
Now you can bargain at the Sell Shop
At Sell Shop, players can choose features Bargain to negotiate with sellers to achieve better prices for each type of agricultural product or your entire warehouse.
Guild feature
Guilds allow you to form a guild, view leaderboards, and receive rewards. Joining an existing Guild requires an invitation from a guild member. Guilds can compete in many global events. High-achieving guilds will climb the leaderboard and receive exclusive rewards.
New equipment
The Gear Shop now offers a variety of mushrooms that can be used to gain temporary buffs, such as increased movement speed, increased size, or shrinking of the character. These effects are especially useful in activities that involve breaking into and harvesting crops from your opponent’s garden.
Theft mechanism
When night falls, players can enter other people’s gardens and try to steal plants. However, you will not be able to harvest crops if the garden owner is on their property. On the contrary, leaving the garden for too long can also cause other players to sneak in and take your valuable agricultural products.
How to have a pet
Grow A Garden 2 does not have its own store to buy eggs or pets. Instead, pets will appear randomly on the map for a limited time. During this time, gamers can buy and own pets before they disappear.
Does Grow A Garden 2 have an age limit?
Grow A Garden 2 Roblox is designed for players of all ages. However, at launch, you will be asked to complete age verification.
